Biography

Objective:

To provide promoters with a credible and crowd-friendly live option for their parties.

Current + DJ Gigs:

July 2006: Bacardi B-Live at Lovebox - Part of 3-piece horn section playing alongside Phil Asher, Spiritual South and the Slammin’ boys.

June 2006 - Present: Earl of Camden Pub (Camden, London) - Chilled out weekly Sunday session 7 till 10:30 with DJs on rotation.

Jan 2006 – Present: Mint Leaf Restaurant (Haymarket, London). Weekly residency every Friday though till October.

June 2005 - Present: MN2S Residents Parties. Feature alongside MN2S artists “The Jinks” at venues such as Sosho and the End.

2003 - Present: Kinky Malinki (Pacha/Neighborhood/Various). Playing alongside KM residents and guests.

Past + DJ Gigs (Selected):

2000 - 2005: Angel Deelite (V-Club, Manchester). Soulful Funky US House Night. Played with Brian Tappert, Sandy Riviera, Neil Pearce and residents. Featured live on Galaxy 102 Broadcasts from the club.

2004 - 2005: Stylus (Music Box, Manchester). Appearance with Lottie, DJ Heather, A Guy Called Gerald and Residents.

2002 - 2003:Golden (The Void, Stoke). W/Erol Alkan, Tom Middleton and Golden Residents.

Live Gigs:

2006 - Present: King Salsa. Playing solo trumpet in Robin Jones’ Big Band salsa show at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s club in London.

2002: Snowbombing With RSL. Played trumpet in the RSL live show at this event covered on BBC Radio 1.

1996 - Present: Professional Jazz Musician. Playing in various shows and ensembles including the Glenn Miller Tribute Orchestra, The Nelson Riddle Tribute Orchestra, The Bobby Darin Songbook Show, The Ratpack UK Touring Band and The National Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Original Work:

Currently working on a live Brazilian big band project, as well as providing instrumental sessions and horn arrangements for various dance music producers including Seiji, Mark Force and Afronaut.

2006: The Jinks “Believe Me” (MN2S) – Solo Rhodes.

2006: UK AIDS awareness charity Bottletop’s “Sound Affects: Africa” album – Guitar.

2005: The Jinks “Inamorata” (MN2S) – Trumpet, Moog Synths and Guitar.

Samson Airline 77 Wireless microphone system, Lexicon MPX 500 Multi FX unit, LP congas and hand percussion (if required).
